WILD ZOHAR is a reading group for exploration of
A River Flows from Eden: The Language of Mystical Experience in the Zohar, by Melila Hellner-Eshed.
This is a mediation of the Zohar, which prepares us for the experience thematically, conceptually, historically, and poetically.
Wild Zohar is an experience for people of all backgrounds, cultures, faith or no faith, gender expressions, and sexual preferences, who want to discover the huge and powerful inspiration of the Zohar.
This group is not taught, but facilitated as an open study, respectfully exploring and experiencing this ancient body of mystical work, attributed to Moses de Leon, 13th century.
Our background text is Daniel R. Matt's glorious translation and commentary, Zohar Volume One, sponsored by Margot Pritzker and published by Stanford University Press in 2003. Public admission and likely commencement is projected for January 2027.
