We started a long time ago, and got really good at this.
Founded in April 2003, my little local Meetup in the deep South became the largest Tarot Meetup in the world in under 4 months, back in the summer of 2005. By May of 2006 we were bringing Mary K. Greer, Rachel Pollack, Ruth Ann and Wald Amberstone, and Julie Cuccia-Watts to Dallas, and having so much fun doing it. All along, I was teaching my unique, hilarious, and productive Ferol Humphrey Tarot Method. We had a midnight Harry Potter party at the local flagship Borders to welcome the publication of a new JK Rowling book. We went down to Reunion Tower, took Mary Greer to the Crow Asian Arts Museum, the Amberstones to Fair Park, Julie Cuccia-Watts to our Halloween Parade on Cedar Springs, and made everyone eat gourmet food and ride nighttime trollies and surf hotel lobbies until the cows came home. We then traveled to North Carolina and Forest Hills NY, and are now planted in Manhattan, in Murray Hill, near the Empire State Building and the Morgan Library. 350 Meetups and 16 years later, we are still having a really, really good time.

Weekend Tarot Getaway, workshops with Ferol Humphrey
First Saturdays as noted, 3:30-9:00pm
4-hour discovery workshop, then dinner on the town!
Pre-enrollment is required.
Now and then we all need to get away from our daily life, to refresh and renew.
We may do our best thinking in the same patterned ways, day after day, year after year. To really reach our best levels, and grow for the best, we benefit from a complete change of scenery and a little luxury and relaxation.
Weekend Tarot Getaway is designed to meet our need for refreshment and regeneration. Spend and afternoon and evening with like-minded people, study things that you love~ expand and learn. Laugh, relax, hang around after the workshop, for create trips into Dallas People will be sharing their Tarot decks, showing off their new layouts, maybe even learning to play Tarocchi, for fun. The main idea is to get away, and play!
